Old shot from the day I got my 50mm. In fact this is one of the first shots I took right when I came out of the mall.

A little OOF, but I like it nonetheless. Everything doesn't have to be cinematic and perfect all the time. Sometimes it's just about getting a pretty looking picture.

-- but my friend Hassan doesn't seem to mind.

-- but every once in a while, cheating is good.

Despite its technical inadequacies, I love this shot. The smiles of the elderly make me smile :)

It's annoying when you're trying to talk with someone and they keep pushing a lens in your face, that's why I'm ever grateful for friends who tolerate me.

Real is one of those friends. Not only does he not mind me taking unlimited shots of him when he's talking serious stuff, he even poses. So last Saturday, when we found ourselves stranded on the train station platform, I asked him to pose for me while we talked politics in the third world.

And he did.
